Next Indiana: A Guide to Life After High School

Next Indiana: A Guide To Life After High School™ is published in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and IBJ Media. Next Indiana is designed to help high school juniors and seniors make smart choices now and plan for a successful future in school, complete college and connect to a career. Next Indiana is published and distributed at the beginning of the school year to 200,000 students in public and private high schools in Indiana. The magazine is provided free to students and free to schools.

With the help of Next Indiana and its partners, students can:

  • Learn about planning for high school graduation and what comes next— a two or four-year college, a one-year workforce certificate, an apprenticeship program or the military.
  • Find out more about preparing for the future by completing requirements for the Core 40 diploma and taking college admissions tests like the SAT and ACT.
  • Start paying for college today by calculating the true cost of college and figuring out financial aid options.
